Nice job! 1000 fpm?

Is that the same basic selector case from the Dover days? How long do you get out out of a set of selector guides? Looks like the same tape, at least.

Vic: No Only 800FT/Min. Around 500 foot rise tho..
The tape head guides last a while.. 8 months to a year PROVIDED the tape head is setup perfectly.. The Selector tape is similar to a Tac20 one.. We do position/door zone/normal limit and ETSD/NTSD all off this unit..

Matt: we were humming along at around 8-10 weeks a car start to finish.... this was a MAJOR mod.. Those 626SE rope grippers were a pain in the ass to work with ( around 400lbs ) Lanterns and gongs at each floor sucked too...Fiber Optic comunication to main desk etc.... I love it when I hear you can do a mod in 4 weeks.. NOT this one =)

Yep it was a TKE job. Union companies have to be competitive.. The days of 16-20 weeks a car are long done.
Believe it or not union/non union installation times are very similar in Toronto anyways.. TKE is installing GAL stuff (due to consultants specing it ) and our installation times are similar to most non union shops..
Union/Non union isn’t important to me..putting food on my plate is..
Matt: why so bitter?

?
