I'm getting 1013 and 1014 faults on an older tac 20 installed in 2002. If I try to "get" or "wrt" I get same faults. Battery is good and I've tried reloaded generic, os, group and car software. I'm sure nvram on cpu is bad. We've sent board to tk for repair but they said it's unrepairable. Car is in a group of three and all cpu's are the older 6300ky4 model. TK won't sell this model anymore and I know from a previous job that older software won't work on newer cpu's and newer software won't work on older controllers. A software guy at TK had to taylor some software for me one time to make a new cpu work with an older controller. If I do this with the unit I'm working on now, will I have to change all three cpu's so they'll work as a group?

Not sure, if I remember right the last one I got from tk was a ky10 about 1 year ago. The software that's on the existing ky4 and another ynit in the group is v4r3f. The 3rd unit has v4r3h.

Yes, the ky10 does have a 9 pin. I think I'll start with just replacing one and see what happens. I think the software versions aren't different but not exactly the same either. All are version 4 revision 3. The only thing different is the last letter, f or h. Whatever that stands for?
