Can you perform a up unattended motion test by putting the elevator on inspection and manually picking the brake on a TAC-50 ?

Not sure about being on inspection, but could the same be achieved on auto with the doors disconnected? Shouldn’t take much.

For unintended movement cat 1 test. Position the car at the landing below the top terminal landing. Simulate a door open condition and release the Brake. Verify the car does not exceed 48 inches of upward movement. For a Cat 5 test, use 125% load at a landing near the Bottom that allows enough movement. Again simulate a door open condition. The car must not exceed 48 inches of downward movement.
