Sounds strange.
So if you had trouble at floor 10, you replaced the HPU cards at 12 and that fixed your trouble at 10?
When you replace serial link cards, your addressing the new cards to the appropriate floor right?
Here are a few ideas:
Try a different car# for dispatcher
Do you have the Swift program in your pc? Or do you use the RVU Wizard box?
Can you see what happens when you place these hall calls, and the cars(s) land at a floor different than where the call was cancelled?
Do the lanterns chime where the car is not, but the call was cancelled?
If everything seems to appear OK, and switching to a different car for dispatcher doesnt help, try mainlining all cars off but one...check dispatching. If all seems good, bring up the next car and check. Do this until the dispatching takes a crap, or all cars are online. Maybe its one car out of the group thats at fault, as they all have the capability to be dispatcher.
What other faults generate during this weird hall call issue?
These are just a few quick checks, and indeed you might get lucky, or your trouble is a bit deeper.
And last, but most likely not your trouble, but what mfg button are you using? The ERM button is known to collapse internally due to one or both contact separation springs breaking. Result...not call or constant door cycling and lantern until the demand calls it away.
Whatever happens, keep us posted, as this sounds like a doozy.
