has anybody been experiencing a F148 Brake pick switch fault on a late model Smartrise AC controller with Torin machine and emergency brake. We are getting a m 4 1 in the bottom of the screen, that tells us we have a problem with the emergency brake not picking, we have had two technical bulletins, and we can not seem to locate the problem

Is it possible the brake switch is bad? If not you may want to switch to a different input. Are you getting any other faults at the same time? If you are getting other weird faults along with it you may be having some induction issues. Most everything is 24v or serial link and susceptible to noise.

Here is a write up from their website on how to program inputs: I/O PROGRAMMING MANUAL

Hope this helps

I had an issue like that we played with the brake switches and I believe the brake boards have pots on them that adjust voltage for pick and hold I believe. It's kind of foggy it was abut a year ago now. I know it was shutting down a lot then it finally stoppped and I believe it was switch placement/adjustment and or the pot adjustments that fixed it. Those pots spin forever from what I remember takes a lot to change the voltage
