We have several of these on contract. We have one car that 3 times now that we get a 2703 fault that tells you its a drive problem. Drive fault is a current variance fault. (drive model ACA21290BA2) The drive will not reset and we pull it and send into Otis for repair Otis had one spare drive and we bought it to keep down time to a minimum this being a surgery car in a hospital. 11 months later same problem on the new drive and as we had purchased Otis's only spare drive we had to wait for the repair. 3 months later it happens again and we ask what they are repairing and they say nothing they don't find anything wrong!!! We ask why we don't get a repair ticket saying that and were told they don't supply that info. But they must be fixing something because flying a drive around on an airplane normally doesn't fix them and they don't work when we send them away but they do work when they come back! We have checked the motor for shorts or grounds and it reads good. We compared it to other cars and get the same readings. These cars have the FMV filter packs on them and they too read like the other cars. Has anyone had a similar problem?

I’ve never had this problem but normally drive belt problems I.e belt monitoring systems Otis if they supply you a part normally give you tech support as you’ve bought there product which is good and normally should be within a 12 month warranty maybe your problem lies towards the drive board I hate intermittent faults 🤬

Is the building emergency generator testing before you have these faults by chance?

Hotsauce04 good question we have ask our customer for a schedule over the last year for e-power testing. And compare it to call backs. We had another car that would blow the fuse for the changing board for the battery that powers some signals . When they tested E-power but replacing the charging board made that problem go away Have you had a similar problem?

Not exactly, but I had several cars in one building that anytime the cars transferred back to normal power from emergency power they would shut down with drive and control faults. In my case the drives would reset but the F5 fuse on MLB3 board would be blown. I ended up changing the MLB on those 4 cars and have never had an issue when testing emg power since and they perform test monthly.
