Does any know how to properly adjust the skirt switches on the Otis LG (Korea manufactured) escalator? Is there an upgrade, recall or modernization for this model? Additionally any information about how to adjust the comb impact vertical thrust switches?

This unit was installed in 2005. The unit is down until this can be resolved.

have worked on a couple of those and i can't remember anything about the skirt switches or comb impacts.

more importantly i think there is a safety alert on those units. check the run button cord and as always LOTO if you have body parts you want to keep in the unit. you should probably call the local otis office for the safety alert.
