The folks at Accord will not help at all. Assume you have already checked with Access Electronics?

Yes I have talked to about 5 different drive repair shops we use Access is the main one. But they say each board has job specific software on them. And I may be screwed but I don't give up on my first round of being told NO! So I thought Id ask here and see what folks had to say.

I know there is software dependent on which processor board is on front of the drive MCINV5ST, or MCINV6ST; then two different versions of each of these depending on induction or permanent magnet motor. Also without newer version IMS and with newer drive board, all adjustments will be entered with hand held drive service tool if you need new drive.

I'm not aware of job specific software. But one of the Accord drive sizes is obsolete, 60 amp? I believe, need to double check. In this case I think TKE is retrofitting to 10k Quantum drive.

I have also been told that on some drives (other than TKE) that there are OEM licensing agreements for preventing others from purchasing certain drive components, such as IGBTs. Not sure if that is true, or if this applies to TKE drive

We contacted TKE on day one and they said drive was obsolete and they could give a quote for drive replacement by the 16th. !!!! They didn't say how long it would take to get the new drive and what other changes we will need to do. And the majors cannot understand why they are losing market share and having trouble competing in the US market.

I double checked!
731AG12 - Non Regen Accord 60hp VVVF is obsolete because of non available Semikron power cube.

This will be replaced by 10k drive.
