Hi,

I am trying to fix an Orona elevator. However, it is not recognizing my diagnostics machine. It seems that its CPU has a different software or isn't recognized.

How can i go about this problem?

Help!!!

Hady,
Type the passcode in your reply and I'll tell ya how to log in to the Orona.
Just kidding. Do you know if the software requires a passcode to log in? Good chance it does if your having no luck with your tool. Do you have an instruction booklet that came with the tool? Have you tried placing the controller INSPECT switch to ON or some variation like that? I'll guess you've inherited a job with no prints, and so your stuck. Just maybe the job number ( controller serial #) and a call to the controller Mfg'r may be of some help. But...can you verify DOOR LOCKS are made? DOOR OPEN/CLOSE LIMITS are in their proper state, SAFE STRING is good...CAR TOP Inspection switch is NORMAL, you know, the basic stuff. Just maybe you don't need a tool for this one.

Hady

There are 2 types of orona diagnostics 1 is the arca 1 and the other is the arca 2 now if it is a reset that is required you can power down the lift switch off the processer board with the small battery on then power up the lift again and then switch on the processer board the lift will then do a full reset run hope this info is helpful

Like other brands, does Orona do a reset for 0 floor when it reaches the Ground Floor?

If cat top switch is in inspection, will indicator display - - or will it display the floor

If car top switch is in inspection, will the lift run on controller inspection Up and Down buttons?

What kind of diagnostic machine are you using? arca 1 and arca 2 are not the same connector, if it is not the right connector you can lay the canbus down and the cpu.
