Working on a 6010. In the up direction from bottom floor only give it a call the car will answer the floor above the desired floor. “S” signals are coming in properly 2S, 3S, 4S etc.

In a down direction call from the top floor the car will initiate a 1sd signal early which drops HS & run in leveling all the way until the desired floor is reached. “S”s all unlatch at the proper sequence.

What signal tells the controller it’s at the bottom floor, usually it’s a down normal signal, but on these cars that doesn’t appear to be the case.

I would check the bottom rail slowdown switches. They may be mfs switches. In which case one of them may not have switched state when the magnet ran past it.

Put this one to bed. Apparently the route mechanic had a vane pile up on the MUS & MDS mags (mfs sw’s) a few weeks back. He remounted the MDS & MDS1 switches opposite of what they drive in the controller. MDS drives FSP MDS1 drives HSP. So in the down direction FSP flashed before HSP which initiated a 1SD slowdown prematurely dropping HS way early then leveling all the way into the target floor. Corrected that now onto the problem with stepping up.

A simpler one here. From the bottom floor up the elevator never saw the MUS & MUS1 at the 2nd floor which caused the elevator to get out of step. The MSU & MSU1 vane didn’t engage the MSU & MSU1 mfs switch enough. Adjusted & rts.
