I don't think you are going to get a good answer here. That is because elevator people don't like MRL's. If I can't touch it or see it, I, myself don't want it...

Haha, I'm totally with you on that JustWolf. I do not like working on MRL's. I try to convince architects not to SPEC them but it falls on deaf ears. I have to bid to the SPEC and this is the SPEC. Looking like TKE or The Big O will be their only choice. SMH.

Thanks BillS. I sent a message to Delaware Elevator and haven't heard back yet. It's starting to look like TKE's Endura 3-stage is the only option for a 30' rise.

Heard Canton is doing one as well but haven't seen anything on it and theyve been talking for a while now about it....We did an Alliance MRL package but it was traction (wouldn't recommend it - bunch of issues regardless of traction or hydro). Typically if a contractor really pushes us for a bid on a project that has MRL specs we usually push back hard on it and offer a typical package (holeless, in ground, or roped hydro) and if they really don't want it then we ignore the bid request, just not worth it with the big boys having the upper hand as far as MRL installs go.

Thanks ElevatorGuy128. I just loath seeing proprietary elevators being put in. Haha

If you are a building owner, you should avoid an MRL like the plague. If you are sourcing on behalf of a building owner, you should avoid an MRL like the plague.
