Has anybody modded one? We just replaced one with a smartrise. Kept the mx 10/08 machine has a magnetek hpv900 axial flux drive. The problem we have is with motor noise form the machine the hoistway echos so it is amplified the elevator actually runs pretty smooth and isn’t logging any faults. It’s a 5 stop. It almost sounds like something is rubbing inside the machine. Has anyone had any experience with a bad bearing on these machines? We have tried adjusting the drive with magnetek and smartrise support but nothing really seems to make the noise get any better aside from slowing the car down a little bit. Thanks
