Having issues with two cars that are six weeks away from modernization. I have yet to observe the issues either car has, but apparently passengers are trapped on almost a daily basis. I babysat the cars for a few hours and didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. I am missing at least half of the wiring diagrams.

As the thread title suggests, this is 20 stop duplex of US Elevators installed in 1981. I was unable to locate a model of the controller anywhere on the controller or the print pages I have. The job has motor generators, geared machines, 20 front openings and emergency power.

I have included a few photos. Any help with prints would be greatly appreciated.

You need more info. What car is sticking people, what floor is it happening at, how are the people getting out, is it running high speed then stopping, stalling in leveling, is it sticking right when the doors close, is it leveling into the floor then not opening the door? You need to talk to the folks who are getting trapped to get more data. Gotta put your detective hat on with those old units. Definitely will need a full set of prints. Call up the old timer who took care of it for 20 years and see if he has any ideas or a full set of the prints. You might need to sit on this one for a few days to figure it out.

I purposely kept the post brief. Not looking for technical assistance, just assistance with a copy of wiring diagrams.

I’m familiar with this forum, I find there is better traffic in this section and my post is more likely to be seen.

You’ve got the R10 hardwired relay controller there. And EPO if I read that drawing title page right.
Inflight entrapments usually are safe string related. However, the EPO stuff could be problematic too.

Do you have at least the car control page? You know, safety string, 48volt supply, door locks etc.
On a twenty stop, you most likely have comp chain or rope. Swaying ropes from mid rise up/dn traffic can cause the rope to contact the cwt buffer switch momentarily trapping people. I’d also (in the mean time) check all connections big and small on those GE starters. Just a couple of thoughts.

If IDWT doesn’t have what you’re looking for, check member Christy Collett. I think I remember him being a old U.S. guy but also a print collector for anything in the trade.
