I’m trying to find the part number for the IO board that’s compatible with the V2 GECB board. This whole thing is a very long story but we got a V2 GECB from the local Otis office and they have confirmed I need a new IO board but will not give us a part number to order it.
Current IO board is AFA26800ATD1
The V2 GECB is ABA26800AVP1
What is the new IO board part number that works with the V2 GECB?

The ABA26800AVP1 looks like it just the computering core (V2 means more ram, faster cpu ect.) I suspect the old V1 core runs software xxx30780xxx? and the new V2 core runs software xxx30782xxx?
That is how it works on the "Euro" version of the traction elevator and if the same goes for the Hydrofit, I would just replace the computering core with the new one and take the 8 pin eeprom from the old
board and fit onto the new board. Then you might get some "Bad Parameters" errors, you should be able to set them right, using the menu M-3-2 "Repair Params Menu".

But again, this from software xxx30782xxx (GECB Traction Euro) and may not be the same on the Hydrofit.

Ya, did that. Got rid of all the parameter errors, now down to a SDK DIO error and a SDK SIO error an I get no CAN0 LED flashing when door type in DCSS is set to 9. I talked to someone at Otis who had the same faults when going to a V2 CPU, or like you said, maybe just the new baseline that CPU runs, turned out the IO board wasn’t compatible. Also had one other source in the local office say it needs a new IO board but would not give up the part number.

Just wondering, if you have an OMU module.....
Could one backup the software from the V1 board and update the V2 board with that software? (never tried that before)...

But I will ask around about the IO board, I think I know a few people in US that can help us out....

I do have an OMU, came with the GECB. It’s a blue one though (H21) all I had info on was the H1 & H2 (2mb & 4mb). The blue OMU worked with the V1 GECB to backup the job and baseline but with the new GECB I never got the OMU menu. I had ordered a blank H2 OMU from Alibaba so I read the H21 with a programmer and burned it to the H2. The V2 GECB recognized that OMU and I was able to proceed. I got an error when I tried to load the old baseline to the new board though. Later I found out that the new blue H21 OMUs are a different manufacturer and the V2 GECB (or it’s software) won’t recognize it until you first load a patch from a special OMU. Eventually I got a hold of one and did that but it didn’t get me any further. My original work around seemed to be just as good.

I found something in an old baseline release document....

2014-05-23 GAA30782GAA

First baseline for GECB Computing Core V2 (AxA26800AVPx)
Not compatible for GECB Computing Core V1 (AxA26800AMLx)
Changes:
• For GECB CC V2 only

(You can have the doc if you want to...)

I think it is a lost cause, the V2 core was definitely not designed to work on V1 software. The only option must be to get the correct IO board from Otis...

Or a replacement V1 core to solve the issue....
