A building manager that we've worked with in the past asked us to come in and see if we could take care of a group of 3 of these. Mod was completed fairly recently and they aren't happy with the manufacturer. Evidently only one of the three units were running for weeks, They were up to two when I visited.

The ropes are belts similar to the Otis belts.

We've been pretty successful with the 300a and epoch ii units that we've had, but don't know much about these.

Are parts and info available? Service tool needed? Service tool available?

They do have a small lcd display.

The PW on the lcd screen should be ABCD. Then you can scroll through the faults, parameters, services, commands and more. That'll get you started. There is a special tool called a cadi but it's not often I have had a need for it.
