I have looked and have been unable to locate if it even exist. Does it state anywhere what type of fasteners shall be used to attach mechanic door restrictor components? I have seen must withstand 200lbs of force only.

Typically the code states what it must withstand and you can use whatever, bolts rivets self tappers. Is an inspector beating you up? The great thing with inspections is if he's going to write something up, he must give me the code he's referencing. So I can then look up the exact code he's referencing and read it.
