Got a duplex ESI traction. 10 stop One car only keeps latching all car calls at once. Then goes to every floor. It doesn’t cancel the calls also. Stays latched car goes to every floor erratically .. in the car you see all button lights go on then off. In machine room you see all car calls latch at once and stay lit. Anybody ever see this ? Maybe I’m losing my common to car calls ?

With all my car call wires pulled off terminal strip on controller and jumping car calls it works fine. So leaning towards IO boards being good. All though it is slightly intermittent so may have not giving it enough traffic with call wires pulled. .. one other thing is when I run it from machine room all hooked up on test mode it works fine. As soon as Put the test toggle switch back on normal mid flight. It almost every time immediately picks all calls. 1c-11c all get 25v AC and never drop out as the car just goes from floor to floor .. They stay picked until you put car on inspection . All my grounds are tight. Machine room and car station. Btw. Older ESI controller. Not serial link

Travelling cable is the problem. Definitely not mounted right. Not 40 times the diameter of the cable from hanging point .. was rubbing on a concrete ledge at lower terminal.
