Went into business 6 months ago. Started out with a decent maintenance contract and have done several repairs along the way. Any advice on how to drum up some more maintenance jobs? What are your tactics routines ect?? Yes I'm signatory and that does make things a little more difficult starting out but I'm not giving up 26yrs of being it.

Yes sir, only advice I can give is do as much as you can to get your name out there. Most customers don't know there's other options out there. The big boys have iron clad contracts that are nearly impossible to get out of. I do not solicit on others jobs, I just try and help the ones that call looking for some help.

And i listed few problems that our customers meet before:
1, The quality is not good when they buy some cheap spare parts, like escalator rollers, they bought some fake rollers, and these rollers only using 6-10 months, then these fake rollers will broken, in normal the original rollers can using 16-20 months;

2, The size is not right, espceicall on escalator step chain, lots of customers bought step chain from some not professional supplier, the customer found that the step chain can not install when they got the products....this is our advantage, we are the professional on the market, especiall on step chain and guide rail, we have detail drawing of these spare parts;

3, Lead time, as we all know that lead tims is very important for escalator and elevator maintenance, we can provide the best lead time for our customers, because we have powerful supply chain;

Yes it's a shame that the oem have most of there customers scared to try and cancel there crazy contracts. All of our work has been helping and we haven't solicited anything yet.
