Installed BLD on a Smartrise C4 and getting a 304 fault which says Rescue Operation Invalid. Haven’t been able to figure it out. Anyone come across this? Called Smartrise they said the battery needs to charge. Not too sure about that…thanks.

We had a problem like that on a V2 MRL traction, the battery rescue kept failing, cutting the hall and car calls out for a minute and then it would reboot and run, don’t know if it’s the same setup we had with the batteries behind the board in the controller, we talked to a few tech guys off and on for a few days, they finally said that they were aware of that issue and working on a fix for it

I would have them send a new BLD. If you bought it in the last 5 years it should have warranty.

It is definitely a faulty BLD. Smartrise has had bad units out in the field. They are loaded with bad software. It is a known issue with them. They did not want to reach out to all of the customers that might have been affected. The new code allows for charging but fails to give the proper indications with charging via the LEDS. This also known internally at Smartrise but they are not concerned with fixing it fully. They have lost a lot of staff over the past six months. They only have one person that is capable of writing the code to fix this and he is overwhelmed with several other problems. Many Tech Support personnel will not know as Tech Support has lost several key personnel too.
