This post with pictures is in the print talk section too.
I am looking for some old 70's prints for a US elevator. Specifically 1971. Any one have anything?

I am having an issue where the elevator stops about 6-8" away from the floor whether it's coming up or down. Happening at all floors. Seems to be in conjunction with step up step down switch activation. But the relays are all testing fine. My reflector base light bulbs are all ok.

Have been able to get operating by adjustment to the selector veins. So that when it hits the step up or step downs it is also hitting the level veins for up n down. But it's not right. And I want to know why.

The doors don’t stay open until you put a call in do they?

Wow…you’ve got the last Mohican there.
6” to 8” is the door zone. I think US used an 8” vane way back. So I’d be looking at the dropping of High Speed (H)
but before DZ picks regardless of direction. Something has to hold the direction in until LU or LD. IIRC, DZ normally closed (out) is what holds in direction until LU or LD then DZ. Stepping Up or Down or dropping High would occur at about 30 inches from FL on a standard 125fpm job. The boards Hydro 1 and 2 also carry signals from the car to the controller. So yes the correct print would show those inputs as well.
Also, those reflector bulbs each have a receiver too so it could be DZ receiver is dead. If the car is on car top inspection, and you stick the vane on LU or LD then flip to RUN, what should happen? It should level into the floor. If it oscillates up and down, it’s not seeing DZ.
Keep us posted on the outcome.

I sent him this print over the weekend. Still waiting for an answer to my question because the only single failure I see that would cause that in both directions is if you had no voltage to 45B. The direction relays wouldn’t be able to self hold so you’d loose direction and stop as soon as you step to your floor. Side affect of that though is you couldn’t pick SHA until you picked a direction. Could be the diode or connections on the Hydro 1 board.
