Do Otis 211's have auto Resync like MCE, VMI, ESI, TKE??? I know TKE will often use optic sensors in the shaftway when the pistons go out of sync. I know ESI will Resync Once a day at a specified time. Anyone know If it’s possible to enable a resync on an Otis 211? MCE has done resyncs on an internal trip counter. Just wondering if it’s possible to have this feature or if it was even an option.

They do, called Recycle Operation. I couldn’t find a setup document for it but it can either be based on number of runs or switches. Looks like if you make MCSS parameter ROS Enabled an 1, and Recycle Run Freq to the number of runs you want between re-syncs it should work. Looks like before baseline AAA30270AAL the resync would stop when the pressure switch opened. I guess before that software you’d have to use RORO (recycle operation relay output) to pick a relay and bypass the pressure switch but I don’t see that in any print I have. That’s an MCSS output so you can’t add it to an RSL address. There’s probably someone out there who’s actually dealt with this though.

It’s ROR on the print not RORO. All the prints do show the option as HTP Hydraulic Telescopic Plunger. It might need the ROR relay with the RORI monitor input to work anyway, even with newer software.
