Hello all. Been fighting with an MRVF that is intermittently going thru the floor in the down direction only and only at the the bottom landing. Been thru all the stepping circuits, the cartop selector, messed with the dip switch packs on the speed dictation board, swapped the speed dictation board with another car and can't seem to get this issue resolved. Going to try and slow the overall speed down next and see if that helps but just wondering if anyone else out there has had this issue before?

Are you only noticing it at the bottom floor because it is on the directional when you find it? Does is shoot through other floors but relevel up?

Hi Montana. No it recovers at the bottom every time. It has never done this at any other landing. The customer has never reported this at any other landing than the bottom either.

Hello,

check L3S switch = "Bottom Emergency Slowdown Limit Switch" !
Opens when car is 42 inches from lower terminal.

L4S = "Top Emergency Slowdown Limit Switch".

Can i get a copy of diagram from this controllertyp, please?

Sorry have read the posts before only with one eye.

Maybe the car guides is worn out or the distance between the rails at the bottom terminal is too big and therefore the pickup stop is too late.
Next steps:
Check the speed, deceleration.
Loadweighing.

Maybe the travelling cable conductor feeding the sensor is open. Try putting a spare conductor in parallel and see if the problem is resolved. Please update after trying this.
