Hi. Does anybody know what NFPA 70 says about what can or can not be strapped outside of a traveling cable. We have a job where we found video camera wires tie wrapped to the traveler

I’m not sure what version of NFPA70 your AHJ is currently using. The version I’m looking at 620.11(B) for the type of cable allowed. Probably the jacket on the video cord would not be sufficient. And Suspension of Traveling Cables 620.41 doesn’t mention wire ties as an approved method. That being said, good luck getting it removed. Just my 2 cents
