Hello all,
First post here!
We have been having some intermittent issues with a Schindler 330A. In particular, we keep getting a 121 fault with 078 extra info.
When the elevator is faulted out it is in between floors (2 stop), and the KLU/KLD sensors are activated despite there being no vane in hoistway to trigger.
The sensors have been replaced, travelling cable verified, CIO & CRIP board replaced.
At the faulted state, it seems the CPU was locking on the inputs (despite no ground present at KLU/KLD terminals, the active low KLU & KLD signals are active).
So we decided to replace the GCIO board assembly. We took the board to another running elevator and installed the GCIO360 in the running elevator to see what happens. The processor would not boot up! I am not sure if it was mishandling/static which caused this, but we then narrowed it down that the software on the "suspect" GCIO board got corrupted. I say this because when we take the chips from the running car into the "suspect" processor, it boots up no issues. So we copied the chips from the running good car (it has V.367 on it, whereas problematic software were v3.65). We proved the software we copied works on the running car with no issues.
So we went over to the problematic car all excited. Processor boots up no issues. We change all the parameters to be same as original as there were some different door timing parameters amongst others between the 2 jobs. The only parameter we were unable to modify was the "Installation No"; when we try to set it to what it was, we get an "Install No Failed" message.
Now we cannot run the car even on inspection despite all inputs looking good. The errors we are getting:
"Error Drive - 119 NodeDead"
"1052 WdogReset"
"403 Power Up"
Lift is UNV.
Are we missing something?
Any help is much appreciated. Very little experience with Schindler.
Thank you all!
