Can anyone help on a miprom 21 problem. Keep getting 41 fault. Car runs but only makes floor to floor runs and throws 41 faults. Already changed encoder and speed boards.

41-saw the intermediate speed (67%) out of tolerance. May be a problem with the tach on the motor or an issue with the ETS board (not uncommon) Make sure your TM switch is correct and or your hoistway slow downs are correct.

Replaced ETS and NTS boards. Ran set up and they are in tolerance.

Still doing it?

Allen Bradley 1336 digital drive or Baldor 914 analog? (Both are the only AC's I know that are installed on this equipment.

If 1336 No NTS board. Done internally on the motion adapter board.

You may want to check the ets switches in the shaft. Make sure RL2 on the ets board is operating correctly.

Is this problem happening consistently or intermittently? This must be an analog AC if you have changed the speed boards. If you have a scope meter you can check your signal coming from the encoder to make sure it's clean back to the drive boards.
Just went through this with a car that had a bad governor shaft causing intermittent encoder faults. Also, check the encoder power supply to make sure it's clean. Good Luck!!

Its a Baldor 18H drive. RL2 is working properly. It happens on every run.

Probably a Baldor 914 originally. Obsolete, so drive was changed to 18H

Have you checked your motion averages? (And your dictation voltage?)
