Your close, it's 1234144.
1.) Run car to top floor
2.) After doors close put unit on controller inspection
3.) Place temporary jumper at Connector 47 pins 2 & 3
4.) Run car up to directional limit
5.) Enter PRT command, it is located in Adjustments, Adjust Car, Commands, Startup Menu using the UIT
6.) Run car to ring
7.) Must be on directional limit and controller inspect to enter PRT command.
8.) Lower car on controller inspect
9.) Remove jumper at Connector 47 pins 2 & 3
10.) Return to normal service.

Thank You very much for the info. We just took on one of these units, fortunately, Thyssen left all documentation! I looked through all the manuals and did not find out how to put the unit on the stop ring.. Thanks

Info is under acceptance testing area. You should have the manual as well as a usb thumb drive, very important to have this drive as it has all the software for the job.

I'm new to the Tac-32 as well. Do I need a computer to log on to the controller? Every button I push just ends up showing a *

No, you can use the UIT. You need to enter the password to access the menu tree. You should have the manual, they have been leaving this with the controllers.

You don't. Like Ib said, If you access the UIT correctly, it'll open up into a scroll type selection giving you options. Ya just gotta know we're you need to go using the up/dn/enter buttons. Fool around with it to get familiar, you can't hurt anything if your not trying to change anything. He gave some good information.

beaupeep you won't see the number come up, only the * while entering the code.
the 4 buttons on the UIT are the numbers 1,2,3,4 from left to right just press the appropriate button for the corresponding number and when your done the menu screen will come up

That's a long list beupeep. If you give me a few I will be happy to look them up, or if you have a tac32 job, the manual is on the thumb drive and all codes are listed in there. I want to say we have some 30 SP faults, maybe another 30 NP faults, close to 100 different car faults, and I am not sure how many door operator fault codes that can show up.

It's more of a product manual as opposed to an owners manual.

Faults are in the UIT, after the fault code it gives the fault explanation.
