The cio board is a try, id look in the status -- I/0 menu and see if you can see what inputs are causing it to start. Check your khu, kse etc. and see if the vane reader is communicating. The vane reader plugs into cio before heading to crip. Maybe a bad cio board is causing the crip to think the car is lost? Altho id expect to see errors pertaining to that. Any other errors?

The car would run on automatic in the group (2 cars) This would only show up if you got the car lost. Pull main line at middle floor. After we tried new boards things got worse and it would screw up all the time. Car will not run on inspection now. And no we have not changed out the CIO board.

I would try the cio, it controls all the inputs and outputs for the positioning. I've had strange things happen before. To be clear in my understanding: the car runs fine on auto but if you kill the power when its not at the terminal it will hunt for a position by cycling directions?

Also you say It does not run on inspect, on the crip there are relays SKD1-5, which is basically your safety circuit. When you give start command are these all lighting up?

The car use to run fine on auto and then if it became lost it would start hunting for position. Now it hunts for position all the time. We will install CIO today. and will check skd1-5 if CIO doesn't fix it.

Is it possible that its in viscosity control and bypass is not set correcty? Levelling sensors a bit too close? Just a thought, I'm on vac. In Jamaica and waiting for wife to shower. Just a couple quick thoughts

Ah Jamaica!
I've been there several time. Swept Away in Negril is one of my favorite places.

Where are you staying?

And more importantly, snap some pictures of the equipment! My father did some consulting work down there, seemed pretty laid back!
