Have a 6 car group and every week or so one of the cars is sitting at bottom landing not responding, every time it has lost its floor table with no other faults. Today when I arrived on the job I seen I had no outputs on the pilot relay board and the msu board was not in sync with CPU and io board (flashing lights) which would not allow connection of service tool. This problem has me stumped. I have changed CPU boards, msu board, card rack was recently changed, ribbon cables to msu to pilot board. Today I changed the pilot board, just trying to figure why I'm loosing outputs and floor tables. If anyone has some info they could share I would appreciate it, also reasons as to why the tables are or could get lost.
Thank you
Nick

I would take a close look at your 5 volt power supply. The floor table should be non-volatile RAM, could be AC ripple on your 5 volt supply electrically erasing it. Just a thought.

Replace the Miprom II power supply. Add surge protection to the 120vac to the power supply input voltage.

That's a valid point, this issue didn't arise until a storm knocked power out at the building and this problem has happened since. I have a spare power supply on site.

Problem was relay pilot board. Thought I'd put solution in thread in case anyone ever reads this and has the issue.

Thank you for posting the fix! Too many threads here leave you hanging. By the way, how in the heck does that board cause the floor table to get lost?
