Elevator is stuck on safetys and cant get elvator to move ,jumped out safety switchs but car still won't move up. I did find a battery fault on drive but can't get to controller because elevator is 60 feet down and otis fucken stupid idea of putting controller on top floor inside of hoistway ,stupid !!!!! ..........Not really a bad Idea..if you know what you are doing..this is a prime example why we keep our MRL,s Everything is like that...”if you know what you’re doing”. I get it. But when YOU find yourself in a situation like Pockets did on a KCM or Thyssenkrupp unit or whatever and that emergency evacuation device ain’t working or you have to read the12 step instructions before engaging yourself in the “how” the controls work, and do it ASAP because you’ve got someone stuck, and you’re on an OT call by yourself with sweat dripping like the Orville Dam break on your face, you’d wish you were dealing with a conventional OH machine and motor room. Just sayin’.
