Hi there and thanks for accepting me.

My first time posting but long time follower.

Have been working on a building that was abandoned not long after it was completed and the lifts were turned off for around 8 years and only had been in operation for a few weeks.

The building including the elevators were vandalised over time & slowly but surely we have now reached a stage to recommission them.

Out of the 4 in this group we were only left with one machine having a SIM card the rest do not.

They are all communicating between each other as when we are online with CADI software all 4 in the group are accessible.

They have 8 levels in total with wire rope gearless drives and VF44BR inverters.

They are all operating in inspection mode both from car roof and main panel’s.

The landing displays though all Show X on them?

CADI is telling me to learn run them but this is where I’m without any commissioning documentation and unaware how to do this never being officially trained on the CADI

It’s been a lot of work refurbishing these till now & I hope that we are close to seeing light at the end of the tunnel.



So really my questions are.

1. How to learn run these machines?
2. Can the group run with only the one SIM?
3. How to remove the X that must mean out of service.

Also while monitoring the shaft encoder while operating in inspection mode. It is counting the position from top to bottom.

1. Do the top and bottom end of travel limits reference the machine if the car trips them during inspection mode?

1. Tell me the release or post a picture of the controller
2. No, 1 SIM = 1 Elevator running
3. Fix all the issues, put it in operation mode
