Curios if anyone has experience in the industry in central florida? Considering a move to that area in the next couple years and would most likely look to stay within the elevator business. Currently have about 12 years experience in the industry working for a non-union company, majority of my experience is in smaller cars (under 10 floors), most of which are hydros... licensed currently - wondering if that helps any trying to get licensed in FL.... nothing set in stone yet but figured it could hurt to get some info if possible. Thanks in advance

ElevatorGuy128 you might try getting ahold of the Florida Department of Labor & Industries Elevator Division and ask if they reciprocate elevator mechanics licenses with the state that you are currently licensed in.
