Recently had an elevator shutdown during a test because fire service did not work properly - key switch would take approx 1 min to reset off fire and also car would not return to alternate floor when going to the off position (old code in MA). we think it may be a mix up of the EMT and Fire because when turning the lobby fire switch to the On position it will illuminate both EMT and Fire hat and when trying to reset it takes about 1 minute which is typical for EMT to reset in some cases. My question is if this turns out to not be a mix up between fire and EMT, how can i go about looking at and possibly making changes to the program on this? do i need a special tool for it?
