Don’t know if the problem is with the notching circuit but car stops at each floor going up till it reaches the top floor when giving any up call. Going down has no problems. Cleaned contacts on relays na, nb, and n. Also cleaned relays labeled 39,39a, 39c and 39d. All relays described are picking showing me that it’s coils are good. Any suggestions of what else to look for will be helpful.

Look for worn ladders on the relays in the up or stopping circuit. “Ladders” being the phenolic support on the end of the relays facing you. Those rectangular open steps between each contact finger wear out creating too great a gap between NO/NC contacts and they won’t make up. The old guy trick was if you found the offending contact, slipping a paper match (yes out of a match book) under the contact finger between it and the ladder step would give enough lift to allow the contact to make. Sorry I can’t be more specific on the issue but you’ll get it resolved soon enough.

Do those have the B69 and T69 relays on it? I know those are selector resets, when the car comes to the top T69 drops out and B69 drops when it’s at the bottom, don’t know if it could be those, I had a problem years ago on a hydro with one getting stuck in causing the car to stop at the intermittent floors and coming back up to the top to try to find itself
