Any old school tricks to quiet these things up?

Sometimes you can carefully cock the sheave or motor, I hate to say it but I've had good luck running the doors and dripping my zoom spout oil on the end that's squealing and going back over it with a rag.

I just used graphite grease/ powder today, just make sure you don’t get it in the car gate contact.
