I have a 311 gem that will randomly run into the pit on the buffer. Maybe once a week or twice in one day. The only mcss faults I get are 1ls position fault, safety string open. Thanks for any help

Check the door locks for corrosion and intermittent contacts. Could also be a break in the travel cable wire. Without actually watching it happen and seeing the relay fluctuations it’s hard to tell from here.
