Just wondering if any one has experience with the Cambrian model elevator.
The one I am working on has apparently been unused for 6 months and upon attendance, it was obvious the controller board had 6 burnt resistors, so before any other work had to be done, I replaced its EC 3200 controller board.
After this, on power up, the lift did not work, but the it had a constant clicking and flashing of the new controller board.......almost as if the light screen unit was not working properly. But without schematics, I couldn't tell if this was the actual reason.
Wondering if anyone has schematics or ideas/experience with such symptoms.
Thanks
Vince

I've taken a couple of service calls on these and helped our install guy wrap up a couple.

Couple quick thoughts, Cambridge uses the same equipment design and controller for all three of their models, they change the model name based on the door type it has. They have a new sardine can 500 pound model, I'm not talking about that, never seen one of those.

They also have a tech support website that is for the mechanics to be able to download any manuals or prints. Have you tried calling them to get prints? Were a dealer so im not sure how they treat non dealers, if they'll help you or be like symmetry/garaventa.

Pm me if they won't help you. I'll see If I can get a link the the website or pdf some prints

Hi EElevator, gosh, sorry for the late reply, my bad. You are very insightful and I very much appreciate your advice. Yes, Cambridge was actually very good with giving non-dealers schematics and advice. (which I didn't realize, I had thought they may have been like Savaria/Garaventa/Federal, and just didn't want to give information). After talking with them and getting PDF files and help, was able to fix this lift. Thus, at the end, this has changed my recommendation thinking, and such diligent service by a maker, makes me suggest them to any new buyers recommended installer. I fix, but can only fix with information.
For others that have Savaria/Concord units, and need help, just let me know and I can do my best to help. This type of information is just good for the industry and independant service providers, so that we can help clients and each other to our best of ability.
Thanks,
Vince
