Got an old Oildraulic that keeps shutting down on low oil. Has enough oil, doesn't have low oil shutdown option, and runs between floors in sufficient time to avoid shutdown. Looking for ideas on what maybe causing this.

When you say it doesn't have a low oil option, what do you mean? No float switch? It could be using a timer.

Should be a timer, possibly the type with a dial on the front. 1low oil relay. If so is it picked? Does it stall in leveling? I've had bad timers on wire contact jobs b4. Potter brumfield jobs usually have the spring clock style type.

The most common reason for low oil shutdowns on any Dover equipment is a clogged up level strainer.
