Hi there, does anyone have the adjustment manual for the D style safeties. 200fpm, 4000lbs. Done a MOD with new GOV. Inspector asked for multiple full load test, and because we couldnt really see the mark on the rails. Next thing you know, 1 the return rod/spring ends up in the put... I have not been able to get consistency with it. There is a releasing carrier, rod with flat bar coming on the side. Is issue is that the slide seems too long (36") but can't really see the mark on the rails. It is definitely on the safety, because once GOV released, sheave spin in the ropes. Another thing, the wedges are smooth without teeth or grooves. Everything was cleaned and lubricated, rails have been scraped like new and added some rail lube on it. Hopefully someone would have to write up, so we can make it work properly. Thank you in advance.

I'm not sure about the d style, but I don't believe the c style is adjustable. So if they're anything like the c style you may need some Hollister Whitney safeties to replace them

We found adjusting governor pull thru changed the slide more than anything you can adjust on the safety. I would suggest a dry powder like line chalk brushed on over a light coat of hair spray to see your slide.
