Hello Gurus,

we need to support a Kone monospace with a power backup (UPS or inverter) to enable it work for 10 minutes without power.

i need as much advice and tips and what to avoid. The specs of the elevator are:
Type: Kone Monospace
Equipment Number: 42323221
Spec: W08/10-19
Controller Cabinet Type: LCE-KDL16

You need a backup Generator. Call a licensed electrician and have him look at the controller. The Voltage,Amperage and other power information is readily visible on a plate in the control panel. He will then be able to price out the wattage a backup Generator will need to run the unit.

Will the controller be the large cabinet unit. Where will the plate on the control panel be so we can read off.

Control cabinet is on the top floor door panel.
