Does anyone have anything more than the basic prints for Baxco? I’m working on a 5 stop Hydro but I’d take anything to help me figure out what this thing is thinking. This is seriously killing me. Door open Output is freaking out, it fires erratically then eventually just stays on. The inputs all look right and sent flickering with the open output. I know that the Open opto-coupler is being turned on by the logic on the board but now the whole board has been replaced. Unplugging the expansion board made it stop and the doors worked normally (car wouldn’t run though) so just got a new or repaired one and it does the same thing.

Actually it does run fine with the additional landings board unplugged. It’s just a 3 stop.

The only thing I have other than prints is the BHMC-15 Adjustment Procedures. It might help out.

Ya, I’d like to see it. I have something like that but it starts on page 7.

Probably same thing, as this starts on page 7 also. I will send it to you if you want.

Does anyone know of a real Baxco expert? I was told they were a lot bigger on the East coast, very few out here.

This one has really got me. The whole elevator, every board that is, ran in a simulator without this constant problem that I’m seeing. But if it’s something on site, why would it work fine with the additional landings board unplugged? The only inputs and outputs on it are top 2 floor hall/car calls but even with the field wiring unplugged, as soon as that board is plugged in, DO output will not go off.

Did you try Bart elevator in NY? I sent a hydro board in a couple month ago for repair.

Due to the lack of parts and support for these things we told all our customers with these in our area that they need to MOD, but unfortunately they run rather reliably!

I had the exact same problem you do. The car had front and rear openings and the bottom landing was the only rear. When it came to the landing and opened the door it would feather on the limits and close and open erratically. The mechanic that had the route thought it was the edge so I came and replaced it without troubleshooting, Problem still persisted. I then opened up the car top door board and found a blown 1/2 amp fuse. replaced the fuse but still had issues. I readjusted the pots on the card and the doors magically started to work again. Its been running non stop for almost a year now.... I dont know if there is a bad tracer or a bad component on the board, sounds like you had it repaired and problem still persisted. I do find it interesting that the additional landing board plays a part in the problem. My old boss used to install these controllers years ago and has quite a bit of knowledge on them. I'm going to ask him about it and see what he says. Good luck out there.
