Hi everybody. I have an issue with dmc unit. The elevator has just had a new clc card put in and it has had all parameters set with the fast tool and the learn run completed. I've checked and double-checked parameters but I'm still not able to get the car to answer any hall calls or car calls except for right after the learn run when the car is brought down to the bottom landing it responds by opening up the door but won't actually run. It does run on inspect also. The only concerning thing to me is that it won't let me place parameters for valid floors car or group. The tool says no data available from device when I try to adjust those parameters. I'm told I shouldn't have to use them but I've had to on every other dmc I've adjusted. What am I missing that won't allow the unit to latch calls?

The Values on 52 through 59 need to be correct for the job layout. Front rear etc.
Do you see valid numbers for the learn run?
The car should run on inspection regardless of CLC.

This might sound silly but did you save the pulse count for the door operator?

What version of CLC software do you have? The valid floors parameters were added in later software so if it says no data you probably don’t have them. If they’re there they must be set. The doors wouldn’t have cycled at the floor if the floor wasn’t valid either. What is the CLC status? Should be SCA for auto.

Thanks for the replies guys. It is an ah1 software I believe is what it said so it is older. On the fast tool I get scared for clc and rdy lev for selector and rdy on the operator. Everything appears to be working according to the fast tool. Also I did save the encoder count after the first door cycling. I've deleted the parameters on everything and re entered and saved them a few times now. New development: after the car sits for a few minutes thr LOO trips on the clc. I checked the leveler and changed the o rings but still no dice.

It almost sounds like more than one issue.

Is that 3 chip or 4 chip Software? you need 4 chip for new CLC. I believe DK 13 is the last latest version.

Are you saying the CLC status is SCA? And do faults return if you clear them? For the LOO, if it runs on inspect, RUM is the CLC output to initiate an up run on auto. See if you are seeing the variable go high and if you’re getting a voltage output from the CLC and go from there.

If you run the car up to another floor and let it level in will it take a call down?

If your getting low oil try replacing all hw,fst, ups and down relays.also check uts on the switch tree. I just had one this week where it would start and stop over and over, when everything would drop out my clc watchdog would turn off and on but power supply stayed normal. Changed power supply and all is good.

Yes I did mean sca. Sorry, typo. It never actually levels in anywhere. I manually bring it to the bottom floor and when I put it on auto it opens the door. I have not tried it at another floor. The fast tool does show the floors changing at each floor accurately as well. The clc never pops up RUM. I replaced the fst relay after finding a bad pole. I tested every relay on the pcb board for coil resistance and contact continuity and the rest checked out ok. Interestingly enough the original problem I had that led to the clc board change was very similar to what you had lowoil. The car would pump for about 3 second and then stop for about 3 seconds over and over. The guy before me actually changed the power supply as well after being led that way by the fast tool. I checked all voltages in and out of the power supply and checked the DC side for any AC ripple. It checked out fine as well and the voltage reading on the clc card was correct also.

If you have AH or AN software you need CLC that is 6300BP1,2,or 3 or old blue board. If You have 6300BP4 you need software upgrade to 675DK## . What version of CLC board do you have?

Oh Crap did you put in a BP4? Good call. But I didn’t think you get a watchdog with old software in a BP4.

I want to say it was a blue board but I've looked at it too many times now lol. I'll have to verify.
