Curious if anyone has had any luck obtaining parts for Garaventa as a non-dealer. We have run into some customers who have no service company and they do not use the local dealer for their elevator.

This causes the issue as Garaventa will not talk to you without a tech id and ordering parts from them is non existent.

We have the prints, I personally have installed many of them in my past but once we figure an issue out we are left deep digging to find a part or one that’s compatible.

Anyone to help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried calling garaventa dealers not local to you? Sometimes you can talk a dealer into helping you out and selling you a part.

Side note, I wish they'd go outta business already. We can get quite literally every part there is for a gen 2 from unitec but these folks (garaventa) are holding a poor homeowner hostage over a wheelchair lift. It's no way to treat people.
