If the door didn’t close with the wire pulled it’s normally closed, I was thinking they were normally open. So to get the detector out of the equation you would have to pull the wire and jump the terminal to P24, disconnect the detector power supply, and pull your jumper to simulate breaking the beam. But still might be worth a shot but since it’s normally closed it’s much less likely there’s a short on the switched side of the SE signal. Please let us know what the fix is, I have never heard of this issue though. Do you know what version of generic software you have?
