Motor is hooked up right. I’m truly believing we have a bad MX 10 motor stator. During a high current demand with an initial start up the machine simply cannot perform. I noticed today that the voltage never breaks past 60vac phase to phase as compared to another working machine which ramps up from 0vac to 250 vac on inspection. When running open loop it runs okay because it ramps up faster and sharper. Even in open loop there is a bad shudder until it breaks over the 60 vac threshold. With the encoder hooked up it never gets past the 60vac then throws a drive over current flt. I’m thinking the windings in the stator are failing when the current demand is high. 60vac to start the elevator acceleration and to get over the inertia of moving the load.

Next step here is going to be land the car, getting the ropes free and run this unit unloaded. If it runs with no load in the same setup I’m pretty sure it’s the motor.

Still looking for ideas if you have them.
