But that only works if you have a fully working COP, then replace 1 device. If you replace 2 or if you start the reconfigure process with the key switch you’ll have to go through the programming process. It’s also a really good reason to keep everything in the COP working correctly because if you ignore something like a bad independent switch module or bad phase 2 close or open button and then loose a regular button you could have to start over. That depends of course on why the device is bad, if it’s just the micro switch on the board it wouldn’t be a problem but if the whole board is dead it would. I’ve also seen someone come in and replace every button with power off. The calls were all scrambled but they did work. I decided it would be faster to just see where each button took me then arrange them accordingly, rather then to go through the key switch BS.
