Preparing to record data
To activate the logfiles recording, the USB Stick
needs to be installed into the CPUA and “RST”
pressed to allow the CPUA to “handshake” with
the stick. For the files to be recorded there must
be a folder named “logfiles” which is located in-
side of another folder named “tke”. As long as
this folder exist the recording of the data will start
automatically as long as you are using Generic
software V1R3H or better. If you are running a
previous version of Generic software I will cover
the available commands to modify the data gen-
erated in the logfiles and the procedure to instru-
ment the data. As the data is generated the active
file will be a “log.txt” file, then once it reaches
1MB in size it will be compressed to approxi-
mately 200kb in size. When it is compressed it will
become a “zlib” compressed file which will label it
according to the date and time. Example name:
log_2008_10_17_07_01_33 . The “zlib” applica-
tion will be forwarded with this document.
