if it's an electronic chime, they are typically sealed. yet some have a have a small distinct hole in the face cover and the volume control pot can be seen inside, then it's just a matter of cw/ccw to achieve your desired volume. if they aren't this type (i.e. sealed w/no control or mechanical bell), replacements are available which give you that option.
