Looking for some prints does anyone know what a 6s relay is and what it does ?

6S 1 and 2 contacts are in the run circuit and get up 1 and 2 and I think some back contacts on 6S short the generator shunt field out when the car is stopped. I'd have to look at a print to see what the other contacts do.

Ok, looked at a set of prints. 6S is an auxilary relay to 6 (there's a 6, 6A and a 6S) . It's considered and Up and Down Direction relay like H on an Otis. All four back contacts #'s 11-14 are in the gen shunt field circuit to short it out when car isn't running. The make contacts, #1 and #2 are in the 1 and 2 direction circuit and contact #3 starts AST timer.
