Please correct me if I,m wrong ? . If someone want to inspect some elevator that you have in service , They have to ask you to be present for the inspection ?
Something is wrong , someone inspect some elevator that we have in service and give a report to the client , and 6 month later the client told me the elevator are not safe and cancell the contract and give the contract to my only competitor , something is wrong , we send the documents to our lawyer .

State and city officials can inspect the elevator without any service mechanics present. Third party inspectors can as well, since technically it is not your elevator, but the building owners elevator. The building owner decides who can look at an elevator, not the service company.

yep understand that part , but if an inspector come from another state to inspect the elevator you service , I think it's fair to let the service compagny know ? unless you want to screww your elevator service compagny .

QEI Inspectors that have been certified by the Labor and Industry for your State, can and do inspect Elevators as requested by Building Owners. So do Consultants that are QEI Certified. That is our job, that is how we make a living. If your Elevators are up to Code and are performing as intended by the Manufacture, the only thing you have to worry about is the price of your Contract with the Building, too high and you lose the Contract, too low and you have the Contract but can't maintain it properly because there isn't enough money in it. One property I use to take care of the consultants brought their own mechanic with them. They did not communicate with me that they were in the building. I seen a freight car out. I always try to locate the car first and see what condition its in before I head to the machine room. And there they were on top of the car with the doors propped open. Consultant got really nasty with me when I told them they need to communicate with me when you are on the property. He said he has his own mechanic and they don't need me. I had to bring the safety coordinator for that property involved so we could work out a system that would please everyone. I stayed professional and kept my cool when the consultant starting mouthing off to me. He ended up turning in a very good evaluation for the job.
