Does anyone have any documentation for the digital P.I. display. I just lost the software settings on a car. Door open time is gone, key switches are not working and the floor indicator has defaulted back to a numeric display...

Thanks for the reply. So the prompts on the tool are self explanatory? The PI is supposed to output alphanumeric positions and there are security key switches...

probably need to change the battery on the board, if you do change the parameters back to what you want, when you turn off the power, they will default again. i would get a battery and change it before you make the changes. pm me your email, and i will send you a manual. if you get the tool from ECI, it does come with a little manual that gives the basics. i just changed a couple batteries for this exact reason on a new job we just got. good luck

Thank you for the help, I did not know the MPH's had a battery like the DMC's do.

PM= Private Message. Look up at the top of the page and you'll see My Stuff. Click on it. The MHC PCB on a MPHII has a battery, the MPHI doesn't have one.

sent you a couple of items west, let me know if you got them. Most of the times you would not realize that the mph2 battery is dead, as the default profile parameters will be ok for most units, usually you will notice this when the digital PI does not indicate correct floors after powering down the unit. any way it is a quick fix once you get the tool. good luck

Thank you so much for the response. All is good in MPH land. I found the battery. On the installation I am working on there are multiple battery configurations on the different units.

The one that failed on me is a single cell that looks like an axial AA battery. Whoever had it before me and mine wired in a UPS to keep the board hot and gave up on the battery.

The UPS failed. I am researching batteries and will probable swap out the bad Sanyo battery and pull the failed UPS.
